Rich berry notes with bold spicing
Crossip are maybe the best company at consistently coming up with knockout, confident and unapologetically original flavours. This is a special issue for the winter months, and it’s got all Crossip’s trademark bold flavours. Its baseline of deeply warm berry notes is lifted by the spicing of clove and cinnamon with bitter notes from sour cherry and wormwood. The effect is a rich and warm flavour, with the full sweetness of damson and raspberries balanced by the sharper spice notes to give a effect slightly reminiscent of liquorice. I paired it with a warm apple juice to make a fabulous alcohol-free punch, which got a lot of approval from my fellow tasters. Definitely one to stock up with for the winter months.
