Review

This Riesling falls between two stools.  It has the sweetness but few of the exciting flavours of a German Riesling and none of the crisp dryness of the great lower alcohol New Zealand Rieslings produced by John Forrest.   So whilst it’s a perfectly OK wine, and not too expensive, you can definitely do better.

Makers Notes

We have sourced parcels of fruit from two of New Zealand’s premium growing regions, Waipara and Marlborough. The diverse soils and micro-climates of these regions contribute unique fruit characteristics blended to produce this wine. Aromas of lemon zest, kaffir lime, musk, honeysuckle and lavender. The palate is succulent with tangelo sweetness showing purity and length of flavour with balanced acidity.
