Lyre’s always manage to do something interesting. The taste of this London spirit – presumably referencing gin – is bitter and citrusy with notes of lemon peel predominating over the juniper. There’s a touch of quinine kick as well. It isn’t very close to the classic gin taste, because the juniper is subtler than the norm, but it’s a very pleasant drink nonetheless.
