As good an alcohol-free cocktail as you’ll find
I’ve already been impressed by Mocktails version of a margarita – can they repeat their success with the second drink I’m tasting?
I believe they can. I’m not familiar with the taste of a Cosmopolitan (my loss obviously) but this is a delicious drink, made with care, and combining to become more than the sum of its parts. The initial nose is fruity, with touches of strawberry and peach, setting alarm bells ringing that this is going to be too sweet. That is resolved when the first taste introduces a good citrus hit of lime, which graduated into a sharp botanical acidity, given depth by notes of juniper and orange peel. The finish is a third act all on its own, and a long way away from those simple fruit notes at the start. Very enjoyable.
Or this drink may well be available from your high street supplier – we’re sorry we cannot check them all but you might like to.
