Review

Once again, the Forrest Winery in New Zealand has produced a 100% no-compromise lower alcohol wine, using their proven low-sugar grape growing and fermenting system.  Some will find that this wine has the odd short-coming but they are not related to its ABV.   It is barely rose in colour, coming in a delicate salmon pink, and to my palate this is reflected in the taste too which is ultra dry and with a long, maybe even acid, finish.  Many will love this, and critics certainly do, finding that the added Arneis grapes give it flavours of strawberries, cherries and honey.  So if you like a really dry rosé, then I recommend you give this one a go.

Makers Notes

Our Rosé hits you with an exciting explosion of flavour. Fresh strawberries and ripe red cherry, with just a hint of aromatic herbs like sage and thyme. The wine is so fresh and light and lively it practically dances its way across your palate to a crisp and dry finish. It’s like summer in a bottle.
